Hunter Peter.  Peacefully at Haltwhistle Hospital on 17th June 2021 aged 86 years.  A dearly loved husband of the late Margaret, much loved dad of Peter and Jannet, a treasured granda and great granda.  Funeral service will be held at Gilsland Church on Tuesday 29th June at 11am.  Due to covid restrictions entry into the church will be by invitation only but the service will be broadcast outside.  The funeral cortege will travel through Gilsland via the school.  Any donations in memory of Peter can be given to Gilsland Church, Air Ambulance and Haltwhistle Hospital via peterhunter.muchloved.com

 

Huddart Stephen passed away peacefully at home on Monday 7th June 2021 aged 58. Much loved dad, brother, uncle and great uncle. Coulthard Jeremy Ian.  Peacefully at the Freeman Hospital on Wednesday 2nd June 2021. Jeremy aged 85 years, dearly loved husband of Gillian, adored father of Julian, Joanna and Jonathan, much loved father-in-law to Helen, Clive and Claire, and very dear Grand-pa to Tom, James, Josie, Lucy, Ben, Rosie, William and Amy.  Funeral Service to be held at St. John’s Church, Houghton, on Tuesday 15th June at 11:00am. Charnock Maureen. Peacefully at home on 29th May 2021 aged 78 years.  A much loved wife of the late Jack, a devoted family lady to Andrew, David, Colin and the late Julie, their partners and in-laws and a treasured  grandma and great grandma.  Funeral service to be held in Bewcastle Church on Tuesday 8th June 2021 at 2 pm followed by a private interment in Bewcastle Cemetery.  Due to Covid restrictions access to the church will be limited to family only but the service will be broadcast outside the Church.  Family flowers only please with donations in lieu to the Air Ambulance and Bewcastle Church.  A special thank you to Holm Care, Dr Rose and Lloyd Johnstone for their compassionate care.  She will live on through the memories of family and all who knew her.

 

Abbott James Henry (Jimmy) Peacefully at Lydiafield on the 30th May 2021 aged 84 years, after a long illness bravely borne. Beeby Joyce  Passed away peacefully at Burnrigg Court Care Home on 24th January, aged 91 years. Loving wife of the late Ken Beeby, sister to the late Harry and Eric Johnston and a much loved sister-in-law, aunt, great aunt and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Phillips Mary died peacefully on 15th January 2021 at her son Garry’s home in Roadhead aged 85 years. Robson Roger 'Tony'.   Teacher, writer, journalist, director of plays, wrestler, shepherd and molecatcher, passed away peacefully at home on 6th January 2021 after a long illness, aged 78 years.  Dear husband of Jill and much-loved father, grandfather, brother, family member and good friend to many.  Private cremation at 1.40pm on 19th January, the service will be live streamed. Rogers Rod, died at the Freeman Hospital on 23rd December 2020 aged 73 years.  Husband of Joyce and father of Jonathan.  Headteacher of Lazonby School for 30 years. Senior Competitions Manager in Northumberland and Chairman and Coach of Morpeth Cricket Club.  Now at peace after a short battle with cancer. Whyberd Joan Ellen.  Peacefully on Thursday 8th October 2020, after a short illness at Brampton War Memorial Hospital aged 92 years. Joan was a dearly loved mother of Stephen, mother-in-law to Jennifer and Nana London to Sarah and Margaret and their children Sami, Eva, Maisie, William and Ernie. Joan was also a dear sister-in-law, aunt and a friend to many in Longtown, Essex, London and Buckinghamshire.
